AHS is seeking a Support Specialist for a full-time position with 8am-4pm shift available. An Associates Degree, technical degree or equivalent work experience required. MCP and MCDST Certification required (XP or Win 7). At least 2-3 years experience in PC support required. 2-3 years of experience with system implementation and applicable system support preferred. The ability to lift up to sixty pounds is required. A NJ Drivers License with driving record is required. The candidate selected for this position will provide primary technical end user support of personal computer workstations and associated peripherals. This may include diagnosis and troubleshooting of all organizational software, hardware and Operating Systems. Position may be assigned to any AHS facility. Hours may be modified at the discretion of Client Services Management as necessary to provide 24/7 customer support. Other responsibilities include: be responsible for the transport of AHS computer equipment between AHS facilities by utilizing AHS vehicle; provide written documentation for software installations to include directions for other specialists; provide timely resolution to all assigned calls and or tasks; act as an ambassador of the department dealing with all of our customers in a professional manner; escalate calls with necessary detail to Level III Support staff or departmental management when resolution cannot be achieved; interact with the AHS, Customer Support Center (CSC) to assure timely closure to all assigned tasks; interact with all ISS staff members to achieve successful implementation and maintenance of organizational hardware and software; visit offsite locations and provide service to our customers; and maintain inventory (Asset Management).
