Position Summary:This position is responsible for maintaining efficient day to day practice operations for a new, single practitioner ENT practice, meeting profitability goals; and for continuous improvement in provider and patient satisfaction.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the daily operations of the physician office including staff scheduling, cash reconciliation, charge entry, and operational checks and balances. Maintain efficient telephone triage, appointment scheduling, registration, patient flow and discharge procedures to enhance patient satisfaction and physician productivity. Provide recommendations and follow up actions to operational inefficiencies. Provide monthly reporting with recommendations or action plans on any issues. Work with the CBO to ensure A/R is optimally liquidated, denials are minimized, refunds are issued, and customer service is conducted appropriately.
Minimum three years experience ENT coding, billing and front office management experience preferred. Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office products, EMR and medical billing office software.
