IXL Learning seeks a creative, talented Educational Script Writer to join our team. As an Educational Script Writer at IXL, you will write captivating scripts for a series of educational videos aimed at elementary through high-school students. The ideal candidate will contribute unique, creative ideas for demonstrating math concepts in a fun and engaging fashion.
Responsibilities
Work with product team members to understand and interpret project requirements and specifications.
Write scripts for instructional videos to teach K-12 students.
Communicate math concepts with creative, clear writing.
Develop scripts that appeal to children and adults alike, keeping them interested in the subject material.
Describe needed visuals and animations clearly, and work with artists when questions arise.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree.
Clear, engaging writing style.
Ability to write at an appropriate level for elementary school students.
Experience in writing or editing.
Experience in K-12 education and teaching.
Strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to organize your tasks, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
