Develop the go-to-market strategy for your product line that includes a solid plan to attain revenue and profit objective of your product line
Analyze current and historical sales data and make strategies to gain market share & incremental revenue
Analyze the product mix & demand patterns to develop price offers, product promotions and market price list, closely liaise with the field force to assess the response and suitability of current promotional materials
Identify your product's sweet spots and develop a comprehensive competitive attack strategy
Work with sales & marketing team to plan events and lead those events to develop required pipeline
Execute timely sales plays and measure the success, optimize sales plays to maximize results
Act as point of first reference for all product related inquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues
Liaise with manufacturing plant and logistics teams to manage supply & demand forecasts
Liaise with product team to regularly communicate end of life products and new announcements in the market
Occasionally gather feedback from partner/sales reps and end customer to continuously improve product communication and ensure ease of doing business on your product line
You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist, analyzing potential partner relationships for the product, specially ISV's who test and certify there popular applications on your product line.
Attend weekly business review meetings with your up-line
Continuously update your own skills on your product line
Knowledge and experience in AS/400 and System i is preferred.
At least 5 years experience in product marketing/product management experience in IT; possess a unique blend of business view and technical know-how; have a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality
