This position is responsible for designing, executing, and coordinating tests for upcoming systems changes. This position is
also responsible for tracking and logging any issues pre and post release.
Investigate system issues and defects reported by staff and customers.
Log and track any issues or defects reported and provide regular status updates to staff.
Coordinate testing with resources inside and outside the department.
Test system fixes before and after their launch.
Design and execute tests for new system changes to verify they perform according to specifications.
Works closely with project managers and business owners in coordinating testing.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Extensive background in Word and Excel. Esurance specific software knowledge is a plus.
Team player, self-starter, takes initiative, ability to work independently.
Articulate, with excellent oral and written presentation skills; able to convey concepts and ideas clearly and professionally
Excellent writing skills, including correspondence, procedures, business documents, technical documents and status
Experience / Education:
Four year degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Two or more years experience in the Insurance industry preferred.
Two or more years in software testing is a plus
