As a Repair Technician you will be responsible for helping make sure that all of our pallets are field ready. This position will require you to assemble, disassemble, repair and build new wood pallets.
-Repairs and refurbishes all pallets to maintain general appearance and durability.
-Replaces defective pieces and completes preventative maintenance required.
-Ensures clean and organized work environment at all times.
-Ensures a safe work environment by following safety guidelines.
-Can maintain communication with other personnel.
-Performs other related duties as required.
-High School Diploma or GED
-Knowledge of hand tools and their uses (examples: nailer, screw gun, drill, hammer, pry bar hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, socket sets)
-Ability to stand during majority of shift, occasionally lift/carry up to 60 pounds
-Team player who is capable of working well with minimal supervision while following safety procedures
-Ability to use hands and wrists repetitively while using hand tools
-Ability to work safely in a fast paced enviroment while maintianing high quaility production
-Knowledge of power and pneumatic tools and their uses (examples: drill, saws all, hammer, grinder, auto screwdriver, wrenches and sockets)
-Knowledge of workshop equipment and their uses (examples: air compressor, cleaning equipment, grease gun, hoist, jack, lifting equipment, measuring equipment, diagnostic equipment)
-Knowledge of measuring equipment and their uses (examples: tapes, dial test indicator, micrometer, torque wrenches, and veneer callipers)
