Responsible for managing all daily operations in an assigned sub-area. Manages P&L, staffing, recruiting, scheduling and store set up. Implements marketing initiatives. Manages a staff of Office Supervisors and Tax Preparers in the operation of company-owned stores in the sub-area.
Accountable for achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets and cash control in the assigned sub-area.
Manages a team of Office Supervisors and Tax Preparers at company-owned locations within the sub-area. Ensures company procedures are followed, business is generated and client complaints are addressed. Identifies promotable individuals and provides assistance and mentoring in developing skills needed for advancement.
Implements targets for recruiting, hiring and training seasonal staff in the sub-area. Trains seasonal staff on office, system and procedural operations, tax software functionality and fraud detection and investigations.
Maintains relationships property managers and landlords.
Ensures all assigned locations meet company standards including but not limited to: office set up, build-outs and breakdown; technology set up, telecommunications, office supplies and facilities maintenance.
Helps ensure that stores excel in customer service and implement marketing initiatives while maintaining corporate quality and compliance standards.
Handles associate and client issues in a timely manner.
One to three years’ of previous supervisory experience required
Consumer retail experience necessary
Tax knowledge preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced working environment
Proficiency with Excel
Reliable transportation, valid auto insurance and driver’s license in good standing
Ability to work flexible hours during peak season
Ability to hold an Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) preferred
