Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst represents the stakeholders and the voice of the customer on all new feature development, upgrades, and other initiatives as aligned with the strategic roadmap. The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of software developers, quality assurance engineers, and business stakeholders to gather and communicate requirements in order to bring new features and user experiences to life.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to understand and document business processes and project requirements

Gather, prioritize, and manage the business requirements through the life of a project

Analyze requirements, break up larger work themes into functional requirements

Work with software engineering to translate business requirements into system level stories

Manage cross-project tasks and dependencies

Manage product enhancement requests, and prioritize project backlog

Provide day-to-day tactical objectives, and quick, just-in-time decisions to developer level questions and defect triage

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner

Experience working in an Agile development environment preferred

Comfortable presenting to a large group of stakeholders

Creative thinking, problem solving and sound logical decision-making skills

Credible, professional and possess a strong ability to influence others through skillful communication

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Strong written skills; must be able to effectively write communications ranging from formal to fun depending on audience and content

Ability to manage projects in addition to everyday one-offs like defects and injections

Required Experience:
Proven experience working within a software development lifecycle

Demonstrated experience gathering, prioritizing, and managing requirements through the life of a project

Experience facilitating project discovery/requirements gathering sessions with multiple audiences

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and Visio

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems Management, or related field preferred but not required

Junior: 1-3 years’ experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, project coordination, software development
