Evolent Health is looking for an Associate Director to join our Analytics & Reporting team. This individual will have the opportunity to work with a fast growing company in the healthcare space and will open the door to various opportunities in the near future. Some of the key responsibilities include some of the following:
Analyze business processes to determine optimal means of meeting any needs and/or enhancements for existing methods or practices.
Responsible for translating most highly complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. These needs typically involve a significant expenditure or cost savings and impact a wide range of functions.
Develop project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
Develop and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
Responsible for developing and executing data mining analyses. Uses program languages to extract data.
Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, and system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
Will be responsible for test plan development and execution for user acceptance testing.
Work with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
Act as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
Work closely on the client end to ensure all business objectives are clear, specific and carefully laid out with high details to the overall objective.
Report and present to teams on a projects current status through Microsoft PowerPoint as well as other methods.
Communicate effectively to the technical team regarding the overall business perspective.
Works with other Technical, Business and Clinical Lead/ Analysts to address interface and domain overlap issues and conflicts and resolves disputes.
Assists in the development of a training plan, training materials, and initiation of training for the end user training in the facility.
Requires 3-5 years related experience in a similar role.
Must have strong understanding of technical requirement gathering.
The ability to work in a very detailed oriented environment is essential for this role.
Good communication and writing skills.
