Work with members of the Corporate Design team to manage the construction of facilities from start to finish. This includes new construction projects and renovations.
Manage the progress of all construction activities in regards to a given project. Must communicate project status to the Director of Corporate Design on a regular basis.
Responsible for creating budgets, schedules, and project delivery.
Responsible for reviewing contractor submittals and answering RFI’s, as well as writing and reviewing contractor/subcontractor agreements.
Periodic inspection of construction sites.
Ensure all project documents are complete.
Four-year Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or electrical) or Construction Management.
Minimum 2 years of construction project management experience.
Ability to read & interpret construction drawings, including architectural, mechanical, structural, & electrical drawings.
Thorough knowledge of safety standards and building codes is essential.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PDF Bluebeam, & MS Project.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is beneficial.
Must be extremely organized with the ability to communicate well with contractors, architects, and other team members.
Some domestic & international travel required.
