An immediate opening for a full-time Marketing Coordinator in our Memphis, Tennessee headquarters office.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for marketing the brand, executing and refining social media strategies. The selected candidate will also provide support to the sales and marketing teams, while developing and maintaining working relationships with peers, Salespersons, Agency Partners and Executive Team, and external Partners. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President and indirectly to the Agency Partners.
Responsibilities
Marketing and Social Media Responsibilities - 75%
Grow competence with all applicable software, tools, strategies and knowledge base
Explore and recommend new ideas, technology and tools in support of growing sales system wide and elevating the visibility and perception of the Armstrong brand
Execute and refine Social Media strategy, using current and emerging platforms
Administer and refine Company website and Sales Resource Web Sites
Administer and refine SalesForce.com
Collaborate in the conceptualization and production of Presentations, Proposals, RFPs, Client Reviews and Reporting, Collateral Materials and Friday Flash
Perform Sales, Pipeline and Agency analysis
Perform Prospect and Industry research
Administrative Responsibilities - 15%
Coordinate Meetings, Webinars and Conference Calls
Orient new Salespersons and Agency leadership to Sales Resources and processes
Administer Federal Agency reporting
Assign, bill and track strategic appointments set
Maintain current and comprehensive All Sales email distribution list
Company Responsibilities - 10%
Promote and administer the Company brand
Act in accordance with Company DNA at all times vis-à-vis Unity, Integrity, Attitude, Value, Relationships, Communication and Generosity
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
Understanding of community management and best practices in social media
Professional and diplomatic relational style, able to work across all levels of an organization
Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Visio or similar programs
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred
