The System Audit Team Member will support system-oriented financial statement audit readiness tasks in support of Government Client's overall effort to become CFO Act compliant and obtain an unqualified audit opinion on its financial statements.
The System Audit team member will conduct assessments, identify weaknesses, and propose/test/implement solutions. Further, the System Audit team member will coordinate efforts with financial statement audit resources and other integrated process teams focused on improving Client's back-office operations including contracting, supply chain/asset management, and human resources. The System Audit team member will participate in FISCAM related activities such as evaluating Access, Security, Configuration Management, Segregation of Duties, Contingency, and Business Application controls.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems
Eligible to receive a Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with Visio and MS Project
• Experience with ERP Core Financials modules
• Consulting Experience
• Federal Government Finance/Accounting or Budgeting Experience
• Audit experience
• Understanding of government acquisition, financial management and logistics operations
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Self Driven and Motivated
