Define, develop, and provide support for SMT, Wave, 2nd Op, Box Build, and Rework processes.
Support major SMT equipment in the operating, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance, including machines such as stencil printer, SPI, pick/place, reflow and AOI.
Design and order production tooling such as stencils/fixtures.
Qualify and order production materials.
Create reflow profiles for production and rework.
Generate MPI documents and DFM report.
Track quality and productivity yields of each production line.
Maintain in-process data collection and analysis.
Recommend and perform continuous improvement in all production areas.
Disposition workmanship defects per IPC-610 and participate in the root cause analysis for a defective products.
Train/guide technicians and operators.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years working in electronics manufacturing environment.
Minimum 3 years experience in the operation of Panasonic or Juki pick & place machines.
Familiar with HLC (Juki) or Pana-Pro (Panasonic) programming softwares.
Hands on experience and knowledge in the operation/troubleshooting of SMT and other major equipment.
Must have good understanding of SMT processes and be able to identify/solve production daily issues.
Must be able to understand basic electronics, including reading of BOM, AVL, ECO/ECNs, assembly, fab, and mechanical drawings.
Good understanding of PC and PC softwares.
Good understanding of Quality Standards such as ISO and IPC610.
Good communication skill
Must be dependable and flexible
Bachelors degree is a plus but not required.
