The Systems Programmer designs, implements, maintains, and supports customized storage infrastructure to meet business requirements and to comply with established procedures. He/she will develop customized storage management software installations to meet business requirements and to comply with established procedures.
The Systems Programmer is responsible for the evaluation, design, development, testing, operational maintenance, protection, and support of UPS Storage technology through the entire life cycle. This representative has familiarity with x86/x64 architectures, storage, mobile and fixed devices, etc. He/She contributes to the management of the evaluation, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, performance, capacity tuning, and support of third-party infrastructures, applications, storage migrations\migration tools and appliances. This position executes analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of storage and recovery solutions. He/She performs planning, diagnoses risk and system issues and takes corrective actions to ensure continuity of operations.

The desired Systems Programmer will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience.
U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
3+ years of experience with Enterprise Tier 1\2\NAS Storage provisioning, zoning, masking, and some Storage Area Networks (SAN).
