Applications are invited for a Tenure-Track faculty position in the College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences as part of the University of Montana’s NIH-funded Center for Biomedical Research Excellence ( CoBRE ) in Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics ( http://cas.umt.edu/departments/cbsd/default.html ).

The position is being offered at the Assistant Professor level within the Department of Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Skaggs School of Pharmacy, which houses the Center for Structural and Functional Neuroscience ( http://csfn.health.umt.edu/csfn/home ).

We seek a productive and innovative scientist who will develop a creative research program in areas of interest that include, but are not limited to, structural and/or mechanistic questions in neurophysiology or molecular neuropharmacology . The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, extramurally funded research program and to exhibit a strong commitment to teaching in disciplines that include neurobiology or molecular pharmacology, as well as mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
