The Nutrition Team Leader is responsible for managing production, assembly, and service of patients, customers, and catered meals while maintaining sanitation standards. Utilize the Affinity computer system to generate reports for patient meal service, conducts employee meetings and in-services, develops work schedules and assigns job duties, evaluates employees, documents employee attendance, disciplinary actions, counseling sessions, and makes employment recommendations
Possess a working knowledge of the Nutritional Services Department
Ability to read and write English
Ability to communicate effectively and to organize and supervise the work of others.
Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation.
Required to obtain and maintain current Washington DC Food Protection Managers’ Certificate.
