The LPTA monitors effectivness of the treatment plan and recommends nedded changes. The LPTA serves as a liaision between the patient and the interdisciplinary team. The LPTA and nursing staff work as a team in association with the patients attending physician, patient's Physical Therapist and other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide timely, safe and cost effective therapy.
