Performs manual and clerical work involving the Operating Room, which includes receiving, storing, maintaining, and billing for inventory used in various surgical procedures and assembling and delivering case carts used in surgical procedures.

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired is required.
Previous experience in inventory maintenance/control is preferred.
Previous experience in health care setting is required.
Customer service experience is preferred. Preferred Qualifications:
Assemble and deliver case carts (Disposable Supplies and Surgical Instrumentation) for use during surgical procedures.
Procure and maintain inventory levels (Par and Perpetual) for disposable items used in surgical procedures.
Assists in keeping a perpetual inventory of stock as it is received and issued. May write request for requisitions for replenishment of stock, searching catalogs, technical bulletins, nomenclature lists, etc., to identify special items; rearranges and replaces items on shelves; assists in taking periodic inventories of stock.
Coordinate special order requests (equipment rental, supplies, etc.)
Requisition capital equipment.
Complete bill only purchase orders for vendor provided items which do not require receipt.
Performs varied filing and clerical duties. Processes stores requisitions and credit memorandums; checks tally-ins against purchase orders; prepares necessary data processing forms for new stock items; records documents in registers, listing such data as purchase order number, date received, date issued, etc; prepares necessary reports.
Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of storage areas; sweeps, mops, dusts, sprays, defrost, etc. as needed. Empties trash containers and disposes of rubbish.
