Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Transfers knowledge, capabilities, and skills to improve others’ knowledge and skill levels. Consultant Capability Enhances established working relationships with team members and management from within the client’s organization. Contributes to quality review on own engagements. Maintains credibility and facilitates acceptance of solutions through effective discussions with various levels of client staff and management. Ascertains and meets client expectations within scope of engagement role. Technology Solutions: Uses recognized methods and specialty knowledge to deliver work products, in all of the following areas of an engagement lifecycle: Analysis, Design, Construction or Integration Testing, System Testing, Implementation, Support and Maintenance. Process Engagements: Develops applicable knowledge bases by using best practices to redefine tools and techniques. Outlines specific performance measures, targets, and goals to articulate the business case for realized efficiencies or added value. Strategy Engagements: Challenges client’s current strategy and direction through persuasive argument. Defines competitive advantage and achievable value to the client through use of the strategic change components and metrics. Formulates issue-based hypotheses and develops analytical plan for testing. Contributes to analysis of impact of strategic changes by defining linkages and interdependencies. Industry Knowledge Capability Utilizes specialized knowledge to produce moderately complex work products and solutions across all phases of an engagement. Applies appropriate methods or recognized equivalent to identified client needs. Anticipates and resolve technical problems with occasional technical assistance from others. Leverages knowledge and experience to assess alternative approaches to solving problems. Develops, presents, and defends conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans. Contributes to quality reviews of assigned engagements. Identifies technical issues impacting an engagement and proposes solutions. Analyzes and applies best practices knowledge of the industry. Identifies specific business issues and implications by applying knowledge of the industry or an industry segment. Evaluates the practicality of and implements industry specific solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Experience: 7 years experience in business/consulting.
3+ years of Siebel CRM experience
1+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant with the Siebel CRM solution in a major utility
