The Engineering and Technology Acquisition Support Services (ETASS) contract provides a broad range of engineering support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC's) programs located at Hanscom AFB and their geographically separated units.
Jacobs Technology has an immediate opening for a Technical Analyst to support program activities at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The United States Air Force is implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Human Capital Management (HCM) solution for ~700,000 Users. This new program is identified as the AF - Integrated Personnel and Pay System (AF-IPPS).
The Technical Analyst will provide technical writer/editor capability to aid in the development of AF-IPPS program documentation and operational procedures in preparation for future acquisition milestones. The ideal candidate will also be able to review/edit Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents delivered by the developing/configuring contractor, as well as, internal PMO documents to ensure format and editorial accuracy. The Technical Analyst will support the management of project resources, schedules, cost analysis, requirements interpretation, and technical analyses to ensure that customers' needs and program acquisition processes are clearly and accurately documented and communicated.
Candidates should possess the following qualification:
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products (e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio, etc.).
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well with others, whether in-person, by telephone, or through electronic means
- Working knowledge and experience on all facets of DoD and Air Force acquisition documentation and its associated instructions (AFIs), directives, regulations, policies, and procedures
BS degree and 10 years of experience; MS and 8 years of experience; or PhD and 3 years of experience required.
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizenship and possess ability to acquire a U.S. Security Clearance.
This position may require travel of up to one week per month.
Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of manufacturing and military sites or facilities where necessary.
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.), and/or other industry-specific equipment.
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
