Job Function:
The VP, Assistant Treasurer will provide leadership in the strategy, scope, planning and execution of treasury and financial operations. The individual will be a thoughtful and proactive self starter who will be able to execute and manage treasury functions in bank relationship management, foreign exchange strategies, liquidity management, cash and treasury operations. Also, manage the Company¡¦s cash operations in accordance with corporate policy to ensure adequate liquidity and optimization of working capital. Ensure the Company¡¦s cash, investment and debt portfolios are in accordance with Board approved policies. Assist Corporate Treasurer with projects and analysis including Board presentations. Assists in meeting overall finance department¡¦s policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
Indentifies liquidity opportunities. Develops strategies to enhance liquidity while reducing the costs to manage this liquidity. Executes these strategies in a timely and efficient manner.
Indentifies financial risks as it relates to treasury operations. Develops strategies to mitigate these risks. Executes these strategies in a timely and efficient manner. These risks will include but not be limited to currency fluctuations, banking disruptions, cross border transactions and client bankruptcies.
Monitors the actions of the Federal Reserve, other Central Banks and developments in the banking system for opportunities to improve cash management functions.
Assist with the selection and implementation of Treasury Workstation or ad hoc systems to provide automation of daily position setting and reconciliation of prior day activity, investment and debt tracking and reporting, and accounting reports.
Analyzes and recommends potential alternative financing structures and explains their impact with respect to the balance sheet, tax effects and financial ratios.
Maintains an active and frequent contact with all banks to stay abreast of latest technology, trends, and economic developments within the geographic region. It is expected that this knowledge will lead to developing and implementing treasury solutions in liquidity and risk management.
Develop and maintain working relationships with Rating Agencies.
Work closely with Tax Department on capitalizations and repatriation strategies.
Assesses foreign exchange risks and develop hedging strategies for the f/x team to implement.
Indentify investments for the company¡¦s excess funds based on safety and preservation of principal by investing in a high quality and well-diversified portfolio of marketable securities.
Stay current on market trends, economic data, and alternative investment opportunities.
Ensure the company remains in compliance with all Treasury policies and procedures (i.e., Cash Collection and Concentration Policy, Debt Management, Payments Risk
( Policy, and Investment Policy) as required.
Obtain a very detailed knowledge of working capital for the region. The individual will be able to demonstrate and explain monthly working capital results.
The individual will be required to liaise, support and confront various high level finance individuals within the region. This type of client service should ultimately benefit the company.

Desired Experience Job Requirements:
15+ years experience in banking, financial analysis, treasury management, and cash management.
Bachelor¡¦s degree in accounting or finance. MBA and Certified Treasury Professional preferred.
Additional exposure to accounting is very helpful.
Computer skills in Word, Excel and working knowledge of Treasury Management systems and processes.
Must be detailed oriented, be able to multi-task as well as work well under pressure.
Ability to quickly grasp company operations and business drivers
High level of integrity and ethics
Experience working in a dynamic, competitive marketplace
Success at providing oversight and direction to a diverse group of finance professionals
Ability to develop and sustain excellent business relationships in all areas of the company
Excellent verbal/written communications skills and the ability to influence actions across all levels of the organization
Experience working efficiently and effectively with business partners and staff in remote locations.
Available to travel 25 - 35% (Travel globally to EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
