Description/Job Summary Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective management of a banking branch to obtain maximum profitability, operating efficiency, and optimal customer service.
Sales & Service Management:
a. Consistently maintain a strong leadership position in support of required sales activities and programs, to build a strong sales team within the branch.
b. Achieve Quarterly Branch Goals for the Retail Sales Program and other short-term Product Sprints or Promotions.
c. Continually evaluates sales skills of branch team members, and support their development with appropriate coaching, training, and development activities.
d. Conduct regular branch sales meetings as required, to provide updates on results, deliver sales coaching & training, and foster teamwork.
e.Ensure optimal customer service delivery for all banking products, including: opening and administering of accounts, identifying and responding to customer needs, safekeeping of assets, resolving customer concerns, and promptly responding to customer's special needs.
f. Consistently demonstrates personal selling skills by achieving individual sales goals for lending, credit insurance, FFA referrals, and other product sales as required.
a. Maintain a consistent Officer Calling effort, achieving monthly and quarterly goals for quality calls.
b. Achieve Branch Goals for Small Business Lending and consistently generate referrals to FFA, Fulton Mortgage, Corporate Sales, Commercial Lending.
c. Promote the image of the Bank by participating in professional, civic, and community events. Coordinate community service projects that are sponsored by the branch.
Lending & Credit Administration
Extends credit within lending authority to individuals or businesses for installment, student loans, and mortgage services by:
a. Developing necessary information to determine requirements, gathering necessary personal and financial information, and verifications.
b. Analyzing credit worthiness.
c. Making determinations or obtaining appropriate approvals.
d. Completing documentation and finalizing disbursement.
Operational Efficiency and Effectiveness:
a. Planning, organizing, and scheduling the daily activities of an assigned area so as to achieve production needs.
b. Ensuring and monitoring compliance with bank policies and other practices.
c. Recommending improved operating policies and procedures. Ensuring that prescribed schedules and operating policies and procedures are followed:
d. Making recommendations for personnel regarding employment, performance ratings, salary changes, promotions, transfers, scheduling, and terminations.
Preferred Skills Skills
Excellent sales and business development skills required.
Preferred Experience 3 years prior Bank Branch Management experience.
Preferred Education Education
College graduate preferred.
