The Director of Communications provides leadership and management for the development of strategic communications plans involving public relations, internal and external communications. The Director will be instrumental in the development of a comprehensive internal and external communications plan aimed at managing reputation, developing culture and building engagement. The Director will lead a team of eight and will be expected to ensure system thinking and collaboration. The Director will participate in achievement of financial goals, continuous quality improvement and compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements, while supporting the mission, vision, values and strategic objectives of the organization.
Bachelors or graduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
When you put the patient first, everything else will follow.
- Greater than 10 years in communications and public relations. Health care experience preferred. Must include proven experience in dealing with high-level executives and a demonstrated ability to counsel senior management.
- Minimum of six years of management experience.
