The Company and Challenge:
Join our client, a 35 year old, internationally recognized leader in their field, as they build the future of their Enterprise Unified Communications strategy. To help them strengthen their design and build team , they are seeking to add an experienced engineer focused on Cisco IP Telephony. You will be responsible for driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects for our client's voice team . You will be a core member of a group of design engineers that are responsible for the system design process all the way through implementation The strategic direction of the organization is to update current technologies to state of the art solutions, as they are entering the end of life period for their current UC implementation. 2013 will be focused on architecture and design with a 2014 rollout.
Please note: This position can be located in either Jersey City, NJ OR Columbia, MD. There is no relocation funding, but self relocating candidates will be considered. You must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without restriction or sponsorship to be considered.

What do you need to be successful here?
Core Expertise in Cisco centric Unified Communications 5 or more years experience with Cisco CallManager, IPT Gateway architecture, Dial Plan, Unity, Voicemail etc. Recognized by peers and management as a key player in your organization. You must be a "driver" and not simply an engineer Experience taking projects from architectural vision through delivery Excellent verbal and written communication skills (creating detailed design documents, etc.)
