Sales Reporting Department Description:
Sales Reporting develops and distributes Sales Reporting for the United States and Canada, providing Senior Management and internal department’s insights to sales performance. The department analyzes data, builds reports based on business needs and finds opportunities for increased sales performance through improved business processes and implementation of sales business tools.

Sales Reporting Analyst Core Responsibilities:
P&L and Scorecard Management: Manage P&L and Scorecard reports to monitor, analyze and summarize Home Entertainment physical business by account, format, and life cycle. Organize reports into visually appealing presentation formats and distribute reports internally. Prepare variance analysis of actuals versus budgets and forecasts to enable management to monitor performance and drive strategy for maximum profitability. Create and design scorecards and other financial reports that deliver insightful and timely reporting. Prepare financial analyses, complete special ad-hoc projects for financial and operational management.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and mid-range plans, including variance analysis versus actuals. Consolidate all budgets/forecasts for North American accounts by channel and territory and present it to management.

Trade Promotion Spend Management: Provide insight and direction towards achieving profitable volume growth. Work closely with Field Sales, Sales Planning, and Finance to continually give an accurate picture of how trade dollars are budgeted and spent. Create and deliver actionable reports/tools which enable Field Sales and Marketing to make trade-related business decisions. Includes educating the Field Sales on effective use of trade spend information and tools.

Global Sales Development:
In addition to the Sales Reporting responsibilities, the position will support the needs of the global sales development needs. This team is responsible for developing and standardizing business tools to deliver sales plans that enable the organization to maximize account profitability and deliver financial year objectives at the account level. The position will help streamline global account planning processes across different territories, establish global consistency, standardization of customer P&L metrics and standardization of trade spend management methodology.


Candidate should have knowledge and skills in:

Candidate must be proficient in Business Objects (or similar Data Warehouse application), Microsoft Excel (must have advanced skills), Outlook, Word and Powerpoint. Experience in Hyperion Essbase is a plus.


Strong business analysis and decision making skills.


Sales Planning/ Business Planning experience preferred


P&L management experience a plus


Be persistent in obtaining critical information from key sources and proactively communicating it.


Ability to effectively communicate with senior level leaders via in person presentation and written communication.


Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and pay close attention to detail, have a strong sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines.


Must be solution oriented and have the ability to prioritize.

Experience with retail landscape, entertainment and/or consumer packaged goods industry

Preferred credentials:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics or similar degree from an accredited university desired.


3+ years working experience in an analytical role within the entertainment/consumer packaged goods industry collaborating with both internal and external sales and management teams


Prior work experience within a fast paced sales environment
