Under the supervision of the Chief Physician and Section Administrator (BSD). Provides professional nursing care to patients receiving care in the Urology Clinic. Responsible for supervision of nursing personnel in the clinic and for performing all charge nurse duties.
Qualifications:
Must be currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the State of Illinois. Graduate of an approved school of nursing. BSN required.
A minimum of three years of related nursing and patient care experience is required; prior ambulatory experience is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in caring for urology patients highly preferable.
Requires skill in handling sensitive matters and patients with tact, courtesy and discretion. Requires excellent verbal communication skills for one-on-one patient contact. Requires demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently; including determining priorities, organizing work, working independently, and working in a fast paced environment.
