Sodexo is seeking an In Unit Human Resources Manager 2 for a 600 bed acute care hospital located in Melrose Park, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for all of the HR function for approximately 183 union hourly Sodexo and client employees. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: administration of labor contracts and HR programs, employee relations, recruiting for front-line employees, benefits administration, training and employee orientation.
The successful candidate will have at least three years HR specialist/management experience, a solid working knowledge of all benefit administration, computer literacy as well as excellent verbal and written skills. Prior HR experience working with a unionized staff would be a plus for this role.
Handles all human resource functions for one or more accounts/units. May include payroll, benefits, administration of labor contracts, training, employee relations, recruiting, safety, etc. Role focuses on hourly workforce. In some cases, may supervise clerical employees. Exists mostly in large or more complex units, or those with unionized workers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of HR experience
