Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky is currently seeking a Financial Planning Administrative Assistant. The Financial Planning Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Financial Planning staff and assists students as needed.
Job Functions
· Assists with various financial planning processes, including scheduling appointments, answering incoming calls to the department, and maintaining student records.
· Completes Exit Interviews for students that have officially withdrawn from school.
· Composes a weekly list of students that need to complete FA paperwork and pulls student files if necessary.
· Assists students with completion of their FAFSA and enters information into Campus Vue when complete.
· Assists students with completion of Alternative Loan and CEF application process.
· Completes mailings and other projects as needed for the department.
· Completes and mails any and all deferment paperwork for students that are enrolled.
· Completes all paperwork for Perkins Loans and maintains the Perkins Loan Program notification to Educations Funding Resources (EFR) of information.
· Completes special projects such as preparing for audits, etc.
· Processes the PEAC reports on a monthly basis.
· Reviews the Accounts Receivable reports on a daily basis to trouble shoot students that are past due on their accounts.
· Assists in other areas as needed, such as student services or front desk.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· High School Diploma required, with an Associate degree preferred.
· One year of related experience.
· An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
· In good standing with the Department of Education.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
· Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with students, faculty, and staff face to face and via the telephone.
