The Rome News-Tribune, a progressive daily newspaper in Northwest Georgia, is looking for a night breaking news reporter who can also paginate and edit a weekly open records/crime report section. The night breaking news reporter gig is all about covering breaking news during the later news cycle, primarily police and emergency news and general assignment. This reporter will be charged with getting details from a scene and making sure it gets on our Web site promptly as well as written up for our print edition. Meanwhile, this position will also be asked to edit and paginate an 8 to 12-page section that requires great attention to detail.
