Description

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of the dynamic, talented and highly motivated team that developed the most powerful Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) in the world. The TippingPoint IPS is based on high-speed ASIC/FPGA technology and state-of-the-art network processors.

Responsible for virtual and embedded build systems. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on multiple diverse and complex projects simultaneously while exercising independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices. Will be a part of collaborative development team of engineering professionals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

·

4 - 6 years of experience working on embedded system software.

·

Develop, improve, and maintain complicated build environments for embedded and virtual software products

·

Troubleshoot operational build and regression issues

·

Engage in general tool development to support the product engineering teams

·

Experience with C, gdb, scripting languages, svn, and make

·

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·

Ability to perform under stress in a dynamic, agile environment

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 plus year's related experience or Master's degree and a minimum of 2 years experience.
