Senior Programmer Analyst, Automated Securities Clearance LLC, Jersey City, NJ. Responsible for developing SunGard’s BRASS/VALDI products, specifically interfacing handling projects to support major client. Duties: development in C/C++ in UNIX/LINUX for interfaces product, which includes FIX, CMS and custom real-time facilities as well as end of day file delivery to the customer; interacting with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Implementation teams; communicate with customer for testing new releases as well as bug fixes; create proposals and analysis for new design; develop and provide support to application support, system administration, and clients as per the requirements.
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and five years experience in software development of SunGard’s BRASS/VALDI products, including work on LISTED, fee based, and OTC aspects of BRASS. Experience must include: 5 years with C/C++, UNIX, WINDOWS, LINUX, SOLARIS; development, deployment, and maintenance of FIX and CMS interfaces; project management within financial equities market with suite of products including OMS, OMSD, CTP, and Liquidity Services.
