General Responsibilities:

The role of the Application Developer II is to design, develop, and implement business driven information system solutions, on time and within budget. The Application Developer II role will work closely with the Application Developer I to understand business requirements and develop appropriate solution designs.



- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field

- 3+ years of direct work experience as an application developer or software engineer

- 1+ years experience designing and developing applications using .Net, Visual C++, or Visual Basic

- Experience using a system development methodology

- Demonstrated ability in handling multiple assignments and successfully meeting individual deadlines

- Excellent customer service skills

- Team player who excels in a collaborative environment to achieve successful results


- 1+ years experience with SQL

- 1+ years of HMO experience

- XML skills a plus

- Experience in the design of relational database structures

- Experience with project management techniques

- Strong systems analysis, problem solving, and design skills

- Strong verbal and written communications skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Design and develop new functionality for existing and new applications using .Net

- Troubleshoot and correct issues with existing applications

- Identify new technologies or technological improvements to include in the application to improve usability, stability and maintainability

- Provide technical consultation to the business community

- Serve as Project Lead for new enhancements or applications

- As Project Lead, this individual will prepare project documentation, track project milestones and deliverables

- Identify opportunities for improvement within the Business Intelligence and Development Team ( i.e., improving documentation, software quality improvement, etc.) and outline and implement solutions

- Other related duties as required
