Coordinates the tracking and shipping of Surface Components and Drilling Systems.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Three to five years experience in a function related to the production of oilfield equipment and an understanding of contracts, freight mechanics and international freight transactions.
Must demonstrate strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact with customers and co-workers in a team-based environment.
Must demonstrate strong planning skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with minimal direction.
Demonstrates ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with customers, vendors and co-workers in a team based environment required.
Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office required. SAP experience preferred.
Some understanding of internal economic factors affecting projects to which assigned.
FMC Operating Procedures, START Safety Program, FMC Product Training, FMC Quality Training, FMC Systems Training (SAP,IMAN) and advanced PC software training.
Frequent contact with Sourcing, Planning, MFTs, Sales. Frequent communication with Houston planning department to forecast equipment and schedule backlog. Customer communication to ensure that customer requirements are met and to clarify changes in requirements.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY:
Directly responsible for order commitment, the scheduling of sales orders, on-time delivery, inventory impact and cash flow performance. Responsible for revenue less than 6 million.
Receives objectives and guidelines for customer. Regularly exercises independent judgment in selecting, analyzing and interpreting data, policies and procedures. Anticipates potential problems and takes preventive actions.
Progress is reviewed with base manager. Reviews and checks the accuracy of others. Decisions made without precedents may have serious impact on schedule, cost variances, and relationship with the customer.

Spends most of time in shop and yard environment. May be exposed to possible hazards including high noise, heavy machinery, and high-pressure test equipment and temperature extremes.
Physical position requiring walking, standing, climbing and bending. Some lifting, pushing, pulling and working on ladders and in confined spaces required.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Interfaces with the client, freight forwarder or customs officials, shop floor and field offices to determine shipping needs and coordinates the activities necessary to achieve successful delivery of surface components and systems.
Coordinates the preparation of accurate documentation including pro-forma invoices, bills of lading and temporary invoice bonds ensuring that customer, customs and duty requirements are met.
Implements and maintains a tracking process for customer property held in FMC yard locations.
Responds to and coordinates requests from field operations for special needs and inventory.
Supervises cycle count activities according to generally accepted audit practices and FMC standards. Troubleshoots and resolves problems relating to cycle count activities.
Place equipment orders using SAP, track equipment delivery status.
Communicate with end use customer on the final equipment order and timing.
Trouble shoot/ support technicians and customers during installation
Utilize customer property (CP) within customer guidelines and or manage the buyback of CP equipment.
Place orders for machine shop work on equipment modifications.
