Responsibilities:

We currently seek a Senior Economist and several other experienced Economists to work across a range of high priority topics such as climate finance, forests, water, and sustainable development goals. We also have an Urban Planning Economist position located in Beijing, China which requires fluency in Mandarin (written and verbal).

Qualifications:
  • Qualified applicants will have advanced degrees in Economics and at least 5-7 years of economics experience in conducting macroeconomic analysis and research, preferably focused on sustainable development issues.
  • Experience assessing fiscal policies and performance, government financing and debt sustainability are essential, along with exceptional analytical and English writing skills and experience in econometrics and database management.
  • The successful candidate will need to demonstrate outstanding communication skills, be able to work under pressure with at times overlapping priorities and departments and be able to travel.
