Review, analyze, implement, and evaluate business systems and user needs for ASU Online; serve as the liaison between the business organization and the technology team.; design solutions and write requirements specifications; develop and execute test plans, and work with technical staff to build and implement the technology solution; manage projects for a core functional area by preparing and maintaining implementation plans; facilitate decision-making by communicating across project teams and functional areas; elicit requirements using interviews, requirements meetings, surveys, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis; apply approved project methods, standards and processes to reduce total cost of ownership by applying best practices; serve as a liaison between the functional project team and the technology support organization; write business process documentation; consult with customer to conduct requirements gathering and solution design to address business needs; provide information to project/development teams so that solutions meet customer¿s needs; provide expertise in software testing design and coordinate performance of tests; consult with Information Security team and PeopleSoft Security team to identify and/or develop roles specific to users; coordinate security design; support functional users in developing reports; support end-user through on-call support and problem resolution.
DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree AND two (2) years of experience in procedural, management or systems analysis work; OR six (6) years of experience in procedural, management or systems analysis work; OR any equivalent combination of experience, training and/ or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in: higher education; online education, working with faculty; trouble shooting. Demonstrated knowledge of: ASU organizational structure. Evidence of excellent written and oral communication skills; analytical skills.
