The impact you’ll have at RP

From your first day as Senior Salesforce.com Administrator, you will play an essential role at Return Path. Business Intelligence & Operations, a vital support group in a fast growing company. You will be a leader in the group, driving us to greater vision and expertise in using Salesforce.com to help our colleagues excel at their jobs by building, operating and maximizing the use of world-class business information systems. You will have great opportunities to develop skills, learn about all aspects of the organization, and gain exposure to people at all levels of the company.

What will you do in this role?

Lots of things! Among them:
Drive the innovative use of Salesforce.com as a productivity tool and business platform

Be the company expert on back-end development of Salesforce.com, including but not limited to design of workflow, validation, escalation, approval process, assignment rules and formulas

Manage quality of data in Salesforce.com

Serve as a primary point of contact for internal clients throughout the company

Own key objects including page layouts, field definitions and hygiene, etc.

Remain current on Salesforce.com best practices and technologies

What does it take to be successful in this role?

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce.com administrator who believes that elegance and scalability are integral to any project. You must be good at working with internal clients to develop ideas and strategies and turn them into tactics and actions. You must be able to communicate new technologies and processes to stakeholders. You should be smart, curious, motivated, technically savvy, and have good people skills.

Has ability to explain abstract / complex concepts to middle & upper management, both verbally and in writing, and influence behavior.

Project Management: Establishes project goals, milestones, and procedures; defines roles and responsibilities; acquires project resources; coordinates projects throughout company; monitors project progress; manages multiple projects; and communicates effectively with key stakeholders.

Quality: Attentive to detail and accuracy, committed to excellence, looks for improvements continuously, monitors quality levels, finds root cause of problems, owns/acts on quality problems.

Technical Knowledge & Skills: Adapts to new technologies; demonstrates required technical skills; keeps technical skills up-to-date; troubleshoots technological problems; uses technology to increase productivity.
