Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Put your years of experience into a future of excellence... The qualified applicant will be Project Manager for the BMC3 Element Lab (BEL) in the Tenant Engineering and Operations Organization (TEO) on the JRDC program at Schriever AFB, CO.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The TEO organization provides general engineering services including upgrades, maintenance, support, and sustainment for three distinct task orders under the JRDC program within the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) at Schriever AFB, CO. This position is the primary interface with the GM customer and first level support for the BEL Suite labs. The Project Manager will act as the BEL Suite Administrator/Customer Liaison. The Project Manager will interact with customers, attend daily meetings, open and track incident reports, provide daily updates, schedule conference rooms, monitor/schedule maintenance for the BEL Labs, and report maintenance needs into Remedy. The Project Manager is also responsible for assisting the CAM with earned value management system (EVMS) tasks in support of the TEO organization including labor and procurement forecasting and reporting. The Project Manager will also assist with forecasts, labor and procurement activity within TEO. The Project Manager will be responsible for interfacing with project leads and the CAM to determine project status, forecasting monthly labor, IT, and ODC expenditures. Responsible for assisting in development of Proposals to include technical approach, Bills of Material (BOMs) from engineering parts lists, and documenting evolving and improving TEO procurement processes and procedures.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of
relevant experience (years of experience may be
accepted in lieu of a degree)
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel and
• Strong knowledge of the JRDC budgeting,
forecasting, and analysis cycle
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• 8 years of relevant experience
• JRDC Scheduling experience
• JRDC Project Control background with a minimum of
2 years experience using an Earned Value
• Knowledge of JRDC procurement processes and
• High level knowledge of network and IT parts
relevant to TEO procurement
• Position prefers a candidate with a current Secret
