We have an exciting, unique opportunity for an internship in our Global Marketing Department located in Morristown, NJ. In this role you will interact with the Global Marketing Team including senior executives and marketing leads spanning pharmaceuticals, OTC, pricing, and business development. Become part of a talented team, building core marketing and business skills while gaining exposing to the dynamic pharmaceutical industry. The Global Marketing Coordinator Internwill support on-going projects in alignment with the Global Marketing 2013 objectives.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about his /her work, will enjoy working closely with other members of the organization to contribute to the success of Capsugel, will utilize technology resources productively, and will be able to work on a wide range of tasks.

2013 initiatives include, but are not limited to:
Market and Customer Opportunity Identification

Collaborate with the Dosage Form Solution team to articulate new development concepts, opportunities, and emerging technologies

Perform strategic analysis on specific market events (launch forecasts, patent expirations, etc)

Business Case Development

Support financial analysis for pharmaceutical and OTC/nutraceuticals partnership opportunities

Support sizing new markets, sizing generic product launches, and explaining observed market trends and dynamics

Support the Global Marketing Team Management

Participate appropriately in team meetings, including kick-off and status meetings

Support drafting presentations/communications

Perform other ad hoc analysis and present findings to senior leadership as required

Qualified candidates must have the following skills and attributes:

Must be a minimum of a junior studying fields: Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Math, Information Sciences, Biology/Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Health/Nutrition, Marketing, Engineering, or a health-related field

A thinker with solid analytical skills, high-energy, and can-do attitude

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written and a strong command of the English language.

Ability to work independently and coordinate projects

Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities simultaneously and take responsibilities seriously

Excellent presentation and prioritization skills; some experience presenting to senior leaders (or professors)

High level of professionalism to interact with internal clients and external parties

Must have a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel

Ability to exercise good judgment in dealing with confidential matters

Willingness to learn new skills

Strong attention to detail

Local candidates preferred (< 1 hour commute)

This is a paid 10 week internship. It is expected that the candidate would work full time from beginning May 29th.
