Ensure compliance with First National Bank South Dakota policies and compliance standards. Perform complex deposit processing functions such as processing lines of credit, garnishments, and VISA check card disputes.
Ensure compliance with First National Bank South Dakota policies and compliance standards.
Provide the following customer support functions:
Daily process OPT, Non-Sufficient Funds, and Non-Posts.
Process Lines of Credit and Fresh Start requests.
Review and monitor excess activity.
Process garnishments and levies.
Process Visa check card disputes and OTP.
Process back-end cash management requests including inputting information into the system and processing new applications.
Perform the following account maintenance:
Perform account maintenance on debit card errors, clean up, driver processing, and IRA’s.
Perform account verification check back.
Complete adjustments on JIRA including corrections on check adjustments and errors.
Process inactive and dormant accounts by reviewing alert activity.
Perform the following electronic account maintenance:
Balance, research and monitor ATM transactions and disputes.
Process Day 2 BIC.
Process ACH payrolls and releases.
Process repurchase agreements.
Process Visa check card disputes.
Monitor the Daily Wire Transfer Settlement.
Monitor Large Dollar Returns.
Monitor IRD Charge Back Advice Notices.
Process Remote Deposit Capture.
Verify Positive Pay item exceptions.
Perform the following operational duties:
Process outgoing mail.
Monitor Business Objects reports and perform necessary account maintenance.
Research General Ledger issues and make necessary changes.
Print interest checks, notices, reports, ACH addendums, and remote statements as required.
Perform customer research as required including subpoena requests.
Balance and reconcile inter-affiliate transactions.
Input savings bonds.
Load deposit rates and changes into Foundation.
Move docs as required in Filebound.
Verify signature cards have been scanned.
Reconcile interest checks.
Process mailings including OD notices, CD notices, interest checks, remote statements, ACH addendums, and IRD notices.
File new/closed signature cards and deposit operations reports.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
Two years general banking experience.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand bank terminology. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to edit written work for spelling and grammar. Ability to present and interpret numerical data effectively. Ability to respond to inquiries from bank employees and/or regulatory agencies. Ability to effectively present information to top management and credit administration staff.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages, and decimals.
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ability to analyze information skillfully; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Capable of good judgment.
Other Knowledge and Skills
Proficient in PC operation and demonstrated understanding of applicable software including Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook.
Must be detailed oriented with the ability to identify and resolve problems; gather and analyze information; establish priorities; and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
