Description
DiagnosisOne is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer who will help support our customer base as well as our development team. This is not a position where you are only taking customer calls and assigning them to others; you will be working with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve the issues.

Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot problems reported by customers and help solve technical issues
· Answer questions from customers and prospective customers about the features and capabilities of our solutions
· Develop customer-facing documentation for our solutions on an as-needed basis
· Communicate customer needs and wishes to our development and engineering staff
· Log and track customer issues, and communicate status back to the customer
· Address issues resulting from application monitoring to ensure system availability
· Work in highly secure environments
Qualifications
Required Skills/Knowledge
· Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals of the web-based applications
· Experience working with enterprise systems such as WebLogic, Jboss, Oracle and SQL Server
· Experience in Java, C# and ASP.Net technologies; working with web services a plus
· Knowledge of relation databases (SQL Server, Oracle) a huge plus
· Background as a developer or SQA a definite plus
· Excellent troubleshooting ability in a Microsoft Windows environment. Experience working in a SaaS environment a plus.
· Understand a customer problem or question and solve it
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience
· Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience in Healthcare IT a must
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong customer service skills
· Strong organization skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
Desired Skills/Knowledge
· Working knowledge of SharePoint
· Knowledge of HL7 and XML
· Experience with high-availability systems
