Under Armour is looking for a Men’s Apparel Design Rookie to assist in building great product

What you’ll do as the Men’s Apparel Design Rookie:
Support all members of the Design team

Conceive original concepts against briefs for exercise

Learn the Designers’ role in the product development process

Learn the Design process here at UA and understand the systems and forms associated with this process

Build and understand Tech Packs

Understand the role of the product line manager (PLM), developers, and materials partners

Cross functionally communicate with the PLMs, developers and materials team

What UA is looking for in their Men’s Apparel Design Rookie:
High degree of verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively and concisely present information at all levels

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, and work as part of a team

Passion for design and a willingness to learn

Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, analyze needs, and offer solutions

Additional Skills and Experience:
Experience with Adobe Illustrator is a must

Qualifications to be considered :
Must be currently enrolled in a full time academic program as a rising college senior, (completed his or her junior year in May 2013) with a related degree e.g. Textile Technology

Suggested grade point average of 3.2 or above. The candidate must submit copies of his or her academic transcripts to be considered

Willingness and ability to relocate to Baltimore, Maryland during the duration of the internship, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 – Friday, August 9, 2013
