International Tax Manager – Transfer Pricing And Latin America

Job Scope:
This senior tax position is responsible for global transfer pricing policy, planning and compliance, for tax matters in Latin America and plays a significant role in international tax planning and strategy for Lexmark worldwide. Located in Lexington, KY, this position reports directly to the VP, Corporate Tax. Key elements of this position are:

Responsible for the global transfer pricing policy, planning and compliance and documentation. This includes working with the other members of the tax department, the business units and the shared service centers to make sure that our results are consistent with the required tax documentation.

Significant participation in multi-national tax planning and strategy working closely with other members of the corporate tax department.

Provides business tax advice to the regional and local finance and operational groups throughout Latin America.

Support of corporate and regional finance processes for ASC 740 tax accounting including tax reserves.

Oversees corporate income tax compliance and manages all tax audits in Latin America.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
A minimum of 4 years of multi-national tax experience with a publicly held multinational corporation, an accounting firm or a law firm.

A strong knowledge of US income tax matters.

A University degree in accounting or finance with a strong preference for an advanced tax degree or law degree.

Excellent communication skills to be able to work with business and tax people across the organization.

Language skills in Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.

Self-motivational skills to achieve results within specified timelines.
