Position Responsibilities The IT Manageras role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization This individual will plan coordinate direct and design ITrelated activities of the organization as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department The IT Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify recommend develop implement and support costeffective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization This person will also implement IT policies procedures and best practices Responsibilities Lead IT Department operational and strategic planning including fostering innovation planning projects and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources Manage the deployment monitoring maintenance development upgrade and support of all IT systems including servers PCs operating systems hardware software and peripherals Benchmark analyze and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems Oversee provision of enduser technical support services Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for existing and new technology implementations Direct research on potential technology solutions in support of procurement efforts Keep current with the latest technologies Manage financial aspects of the IT Department including purchasing budgeting and budget review Develop business case justifications and costbenefit analysis for IT spending and initiatives Approve and oversee IT projects and project portfolio Implement all IT policies and procedures including those for architecture security disaster recovery standards purchasing and service provision Develop requests for proposal Practice asset management for IT hardware software and equipment Manage IT staffing including recruitment supervision scheduling development evaluation and disciplinary actions Establish and maintain regular written and inperson communications with the organizationas executives department heads and end users regarding pertinent IT activities Position Requirements Position Requirements Bachelors or Masteras Degree 5+ years of experience in relevant field and capable of managing responsibilities independently Recent certifications from Microsoft Citrix and Cisco are a plus Experience in multitier domain environment virtualization clustered servers SANNAS etc Experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS) Administration IIS 7 configuration and troubleshooting Excellent troubleshooting skills including low level Windows OS functions authentication protocols and Network traffic analysis Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware protocols and standards Extensive experience with security audit and compliance procedures Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development Indepth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Strong leadership skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required Ability to present ideas in businessfriendly and userfriendly language Proven analytical evaluative and problemsolving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment Extensive experience working in a teamoriented collaborative environment SunGard Financial Systems provides missioncritical software and IT services to institutions in virtually every segment of the financial services industry The primary purpose of these systems is to automate the many detailed processes associated with trading managing investment portfolios and accounting for investment assets These solutions address the processing requirements of a broad range of users within financial services including asset managers traders custodians compliance officers treasurers insurers risk managers hedge fund managers plan administrators and clearing agents In addition we also provide professional services that focus on application implementation and integration of these solutions and on custom software development Capitalize on Change In speaking to our customers we hear three universal business challenges that need to be addressed in an everchanging financial services landscape delivering transparency to internal and external stakeholders increasing efficiency for cost management and leveraging networks for growth Please join the conversation at wwwsungardcomten SUNGARD IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER MFDV Employment contingent upon successful completion of background investigation and preemployment drug screen Functional Area Information Technology Department Internal IT Education Desired BCS Relocation Provided Negotiable Experience Desired Proven Experience
