The Missile Defense National Team seeks a Senior Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Software Engineer the Modeling and Simulation IPT on the C2BMC. Individual will be responsible for developing software components of a large simulation system in a small team environment. Specific responsibilities include design, implementation, integration, and testing as well as support of the software development life cycle with peer reviews, documentation and configuration management adhering to the project level process plans.
Full life cycle software development experience using C++, JAVA, OOD, OOP, XML, and UML. Candidate must have hands on development experience using OOD and OOP using C++/JAVA on a UNIX/Linux platform. Experience in developing missile defense simulations using executing state machines desired.

The Senior Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Software Engineer position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area or equivalent field and a minimum of ten years of related experience; or masters degree and a mimum of eight years of related experience.
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience in developing missile defense simulations desired.
