You will be responsible for generating one-name specifications for Lutron in the architecture, design, and engineering industries within Atlanta Metro Area and become their first and full choice for lighting controls. This position requires a self-starter who is a creative problem solver and who can operate autonomously. Drive Lutron sales growth to meet or exceed business plan targets Develop strong relationships with specifier accounts to become the “go to” person for total light control Foster new specifier/influencer relationships to generate incremental sales for Lutron Work with specifiers to expand Lutron total light control in all areas of the building Generate specifications and technical drawings for specifiers Coordinate with territory sales team to surround the job and close orders from generated specifications. Build technical expertise with commercial and residential solutions Prepare and present customer and influencer trainings, including CEUs and new product training Participate in local trade groups for influencers such as AIA, ASID, IIDA Communicate proactively with territory, end-user account management, residential and window sales teams about Lutron sales opportunities beyond the specification markets as appropriate to drive incremental Lutron Sales Stay aligned to Lutron’s culture and values

o Be ethical BS/BA preferred in a technical/engineering major Willingness to travel 25-35% of the time, sometimes with little or no notice 3+ years of proven success generating one-name specifications Demonstrated ability to build new relationships and maintain strong customer relationships with specifier accounts Familiarity with electrical, lighting, or building system industry Technical aptitude and ability to master complex building/lighting systems Knowledge of residential and commercial specification/construction process Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience training or/and public speaking MSOffice required; Salesforce a plus
