The Research Coordinator I works with the assigned PI and the research team working on the assigned project/protocol. Job duties include proofing for data entry errors, preparing patient/participant documents for study visits, and assisting with the preparation and submission of documents to the IRB and study sponsors. Additionally, the Research Coordinator I recruits and conducts informed consent with study participants. Works independently under general supervision to coordinate the activities of assigned research protocols.

Education: Associates degree required, or 2 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or GED

Hands on research experience preferred. Experience with the use of basic office equipment. Experience working with computers and MS Office software environment.

Additional Information:
: Must have the ability to work well under the pressure of meeting mandatory deadlines. Must have good organizations skills and careful attention to details. Good oral and written communication skills required. Must have ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple work assignments. Need to have the ability to read, write, interpret and apply instructions to assigned activities.
