White River Jct., VT or Chicago, IL RSG is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant for our fast growing Market Strategy & Insights consulting practice. Consultants and Senior Consultants are responsible for leading engagements and managing relationships with Fortune 1000 clients in both business-to-business and consumer markets. Our work typically involves the application of advanced primary research methods to help our clients develop marketing and product development strategies that address the needs, behaviors, and preferences of their customers and prospects. Consultants and Senior Consultants are responsible for leading all phases of assigned engagements from initial design through analysis and development of final recommendations. Other responsibilities include ongoing client management, assisting with business development, and managing junior team members.

We seek someone with the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong quantitative background; MBA or other relevant graduate degree a plus
  • 5 or more years experience in the consulting or market research field
  • Skilled at framing problems, identifying hypotheses, and scoping engagement design
  • Strong statistics and quantitative analytic skills
  • Aptitude for developing insightful results that address business problems
  • Outstanding writing, communication, and teaming skills with colleagues and clients
  • Efficient manager of workflows and processes, including planning, priority setting, coordination and execution
  • Interest and/or experience in business development / client relationship management
  • Interest and/or experience in consumer choice modeling and other advanced analytic methods
