Fordham University, New York's Jesuit University, seeks applicants for the position of Director of Compliance (Full-time). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensures that the department is in compliance with all rules and regulations of the institution, Atlantic 10 and Patriot League Conferences, and the NCAA. Educates the Athletic Department staff, coaches and University liaisons regarding legislative proposals and adopted legislation. Maintains all electronic files on the NCAA Compliance Assistant Website, including CAi and LSDBi software systems.

Liaison with the NCAA Initial Eligibility Center and the coaches regarding the process of initial eligibility for prospective incoming student-athletes. Assists the Senior Associate Athletic Director in initial and continuing eligibility of student-athlete certification. Monitors the practice and playing seasons and recruiting activities for all varsity sports. Oversees the management of rosters, ensuring that they are accurate and that they are distributed to University constituents.

Monitors the status of incoming and outgoing transfer student-athletes. Assists with the data collection for APR, GSR and federal graduation reports. Assists with the tracking of scholarship allocations for sports utilizing merit aid and those using a combination of merit aid and institutional aid. Assists with the oversight of the NCAA Special Assistance Fund from the collection of applications to the distribution of checks.

Assists with the administration and supervision of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council and the Life Skills Program. Coordinates with department staff and conference office the administration of the National Letter of Intent Program. Assists with and be a liaison to Student Activities. Represents the intercollegiate athletics program at all admission, orientation and enrollment programs.

Assists with the revisions of Departmental publications such as Handbooks, Manuals and Compliance website. Assists in the Coordination of internal and conference compliance reviews. Maintain compliance with all NCAA, Atlantic 10 and Patriot League Conferences, and University rules and regulations. Assist with home game operations.
