DPS, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for supporting various network and server environments.
Install, configure and support network servers and devices.
T roubleshoot and provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal users. Research and perform vendor management.
Required Skills and/or Experience
Managed network switch configuration
Understanding of network protocols and routing
Understanding of virtualization technologies and tools
Have to the ability and drive to educate yourself on new technologies
Familiarity with VOIP server administration
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different functional environments
Ability to manage projects, priorities, and meet tight deadlines
Work both independently and as a team member
Willingness to occasionally travel to customer or prospect location
Microsoft Server 2008 R2 or higher experience
Active Directory and GPO
VPN Server Administration
Comptia A+, Network+, Security+
2-3 Years of experience in IT Helpdesk or System Administration
Skills and/or Experience
VMware ESX installation/configuration experience
Microsoft Exchange Server experience
Ability to write/maintain Windows batch scripts (PowerShell a plus)
Cisco PIX firewall configuration
IBMi (System i/iSeries) installation expertise
IBMi (System i/iSeries) operating system knowledge
Linux - Red Hat - SUSE - Helix - Knoppix
Database programming (SQL)
