Primary responsibility is to ensure application availability 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to users. Provides support for application upgrades, access, functionality changes, external interfaces, and data integrity. Troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve issues and/or make suggestions for solutions for the application, hardware, peripherals, user access and connectivity. Monitor system operability and respond to vulnerabilities as required in accordance with DOD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines. Perform project oversight for new or changing requirements that impact application.
Education: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years experience in lieu of a degree required. Must have Security+ certification or obtain one within the first 6 months of hire.
Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Expert knowledge and experience performing application administration and basic project management skills where it related to the management of the application.
